Potrero Hill Montessori School(PHMS) is located in the heart of Potrero Hill, next to Jackson Park & Playground and Live Oak School. Our school provides authentic Montessori education to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers from 6 months to 6 years old.

PHMS is committed to each and every student and their family, focusing on children’s uniqueness and potential and building the relationship between students, families, school, and the community. We invite you to join our programs and become part of our community!

Details at a Glance

  • Our Head Teachers are certified Montessori Educators

  • We are located in the heart of the Potrero Hill Neighborhood

  • Open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm

  • 12 children in each Infant and Toddler classroom

  • 30 children in the Primary classroom (3 - 6 years old)

  • Morning/Afternoon Snacks are provided to Toddler and Primary Class children, lunches are not provided

  • Infant Class parents prepare both meals and snacks for their children

  • We partner with Brightwheel for a safe and nurturing environment and better family engagement
